Beating Premature Ejaculation

Premature ejaculation is a sexual issue that nearly 97 percent of men live with on a daily basis. This condition affects men at nearly any age and race, and cause most men to lose confidence and shun away from engaging in sexual activities. A survey conducted in 2003 shows that this condition affects males between the ages of 18 through 30 and older males ages 45 through 65. The statistics state 34% percent of African American men, 29% of Caucasians, and 27% of Hispanics are affected by premature ejaculation. This study was determined during a telephone survey conducted on more than 1300 males.

While this problem is embarrassing, it is also curable. Aside from taking medication there are other techniques that men and their partners can use to help them overcome this frustrating condition. These techniques will bring satisfaction to both parties, as the male learns to control premature ejaculation and last longer. These methods can be used at home before and during sexual intercourse.

One simple method involves wearing a condom. The condom provides less stimulation to the penis, while arousing the partner, and helping the male to control his premature ejaculation. The method is the cheapest and probably one of better ways to help control male arousal than taking medication.  Once the desired height of stimulation is reached, the condom can be removed for further sexual enjoyment.

Another simple technique is to control the breathing pattern. During intercourse many men get so sexually aroused that they lose control. Breathing plays a large part on staying in control. The harder the male breathes the more excited he gets, and the more control he loses. Developing an inner breathing method that allows the male to control his breathing patterns before and during intercourse will help him to sustain a longer erection, and prolong his feelings of gratification.

Most couples find this method of withdrawing the penis, during the onset of sexual stimulation helpful. When the male finds himself about to ejaculate he stops and then goes on to stimulate his partner, by whatever means he deems appropriate. This takes the focus off of him. After his partner is too the point of orgasm he can continue intercourse with his partner and both parties can be satisfied without anyone being disappointed.

There are many at home methods that males and their partners can use to help them enjoy a normal sex life. These methods are more widely used than those of medication and treatment combined. The cost of these methods are less than $10; depending on how much a box of condoms cost.
